Welcome to the Swiss alpine saffron farm

Nestled in the heart of the Berner Oberland, specifically in the enchanting village of Wengen, „The Swiss Alpine Saffron Farm“ stands as a testament to our five-year journey in cultivating the pristine beauty of the Swiss Alps. At an altitude of 1,400 meters, our farm not only offers breathtaking views of the Jungfrau mountain but serves as the canvas for a unique agricultural endeavor.

For half a decade, we’ve taken immense pride in being stewards of this land, focusing on the cultivation of saffron. Our commitment extends beyond the cultivation of this precious spice, as we’ve ventured into growing grains, including rye, and nurturing our desire to cultivate medicinal herbs. This commitment to diverse and sustainable agriculture is at the core of our vision, turning this piece of the Swiss Alps into a sanctuary where saffron blossoms alongside grains and medicinal herbs, creating a harmonious blend of nature’s bounty. Welcome to a place where the spirit of the mountains converges with the vision of ecological farming, weaving a tapestry of diverse cultivation practices.

Who we are here for

At our Swiss Alpine Saffron Farm, our mission is to cultivate a harmonious coexistence between humanity and the work on our land. Do you wish to reconnect to nature and your true essence in a deeper way? You wish to contribute, seek to be part of, or wish to experience the following?

1. Health and Well-being:

Gaining on health and wellbeing through reconnecting to nature, conscious practices, working on the land, which can also be a meditation in movement, a time out for inner self-healing or reconnecting to our joyful purposes in life.

2. Reconnecting to Nature:

We believe in the transformative power of nature. Our mission is to guide individuals on a journey of rediscovery, fostering a profound reconnection to the natural world through immersive farming experiences, through an off-time, or „recharging time“.

3. Building a Sustainable Community:

Central to our mission is the creation of a sustainable community. By fostering experience, cooperation, education, and shared values, we aim to build a resilient community that thrives in harmony with nature. Related to our harvest times or not, soon we have the chance to organise events, retreats or seminars related to nature, traditional farming, reconnection, self discovery, conscious reprogramming work, embraced by the pure healing power of nature.

4. Pesticide-Free Farming:

We are dedicated to practicing and promoting pesticide-free farming methods. Our goal is to contribute to a healthier environment, protect biodiversity, and provide wholesome, chemical-free production, where prime quality thrives over quantity.

SOLUTIONS & Transformation

We know how to empower individuals to adopt sustainable farming practices, together with health & well-being and conscious awakening.

Saffron HArvest Experiences:

Alexandru, Romania
In a wonderful mountain land with extraordinary people, I had the experience of picking saffron and sorting the petals from the rest of the flower. The present dissolves time when we focus on the activity of preparing the saffron, feeling a union that has the same thoughts at the same time with the same intention feeling the same happiness 🙂
This experience for me was unique. I enjoyed it. It reminded me of the time when we were at my grandparents‘ house and we happily worked on the household chores together.
Thank you for this experience!

The Saffron harvest in the vicinity of Wengen has been a wonderful adventure, in the middle of nature that embraces you in deep silence.
The delicacy of the collection, in a welcoming and healing environment, will remain engraved in my memory.

The hosts took care of every detail and made the experience unforgettable.

Saffron in Wengen! A unique feeling. You can only find the beautiful flowers with the background of the snow mountains in Wengen. Harvesting the delicate three stalks is a grateful and meditative work, even in the company of the bees, who greatly appreciate the flowers…

For me, it was a beautiful experience, and I am a little proud to have been part of this special harvest in our lovely surroundings 🤗 with great people and good conversations. Thank you for this experience.

Participating in the collection of the saffron flower has been an unforgettable experience. The delicacy with which the petals are separated from the saffron threads, a manual process accompanied by loving presence, nurturing conversations and an exquisite sharing with the hosts, enjoying the views of the alps. SĂşper recommended, when do we repeat this?

Mira (5 years old), Switzerland

What I liked the most where the beautiful meadows, coming with the kids and looking at the beautiful saffron flowers.
