OUR PROYECT
Swiss Alpine Saffron and Medicinal Herb Cultivation in Wengen, Berner Oberlandr
Our project combines the exclusive cultivation of saffron and medicinal herbs in the alpine region with a unique natural experience. On 2.5 hectares of grassland and 0.5 hectares of forest in Wengen, Berner Oberland, we cultivate 7,000m² of saffron and plan to grow medicinal herbs on an additional 3,000m². This combination not only produces high-quality, ecologically produced products but also offers an unforgetable natural experience.
Sustainable Agriculturee
Our cultivation methods are entirely sustainable. We avoid the use of pesticides, relying instead on mechanical weed control and traditional manual labor. Ecological elements such as stone piles and brushwood hedges promote biodiversity and create habitats for beneficial animals.
Integration of Conservation and Tourism
By integrating conservation efforts with tourism, we provide visitors with an educational and immersive experience. Guests can explore our sustainable farming practices, learn about the cultivation of saffron and medicinal herbs, and enjoy the natural beauty of our eco-friendly landscape.
